Culinary Institute (Food)

Summary

A culinary institute in the Wood River Valley could build on the existing resources of great local restaurants, a budding foodie culture, and the College of Southern Idaho’s academic culinary arts and hospitality programs to create a unique enterprise in Idaho and the inter-mountain West. It would provide professional training and marketable skills to help individuals advance in culinary careers, and it could add a new dimension to an array of activities and amenities that draw people to the Wood River Valley.
